Mateo Rivas

Mateo is a Bogotá-born, Barcelona-based competitor who represents the modern "shooter specialist" archetype. He started playing Call of Duty at 16 and within two years was competing in regional LANs, where his aggressive, high-tempo playstyle earned him the nickname "El Relámpago" (The Lightning). He later expanded into Destiny 2, where he became known for flawless raid carries and near-surgical PvE execution, and then into The First Descendant, where his build-crafting and boss-mechanic knowledge made him one of the most requested teammates in the community.

Ten years of experience have turned Mateo from a raw fragger into a complete player: he still has the reflexes, but now he plays with patience and purpose. He's the emotional core of his teams — loud, warm, always the first to hype a teammate after a bad round.

Off-stage he's a huge football fan, a coffee snob, and a mentor to younger Latino players trying to break into the scene. His ambition is to build a bridge between the Latin American and Spanish esports scenes and give back to the communities that raised him.
